Luis Tavel is a branding keynote speaker, image consultant, and professional photographer who helps people and companies craft, manage and enhance a strong brand for personal and professional success. Luis built his career growing market share for large companies by applying branding and marketing concepts that are easily implemented and that produce results immediately.
During the past three decades, Luis led and collaborated in the development of a new Spanish customer service department for a telecommunications giant, developed brand new markets for banks, and spearheaded major branding strategies in higher education.
Luis has incorporated his diverse life experiences, from the time his family moved to the United States from South Americato
performing in a barbershop quartet, into positive messages through his enthusiastic speaking style. Over the years he learned everything he could in areas such as fashion, public speaking, professional networking, image, photography, and all things branding. He has always had a keen eye for detail and an ability to see the things that may not be readily obvious to most people.
Author of the upcoming book, In The Market - Why Packaging Yourself Matters, Luis loves the transformation that occurs when people and companies re-brand themselves for personal and professional success.
Luis has spoken around the country at conferences, career fairs, and to corporations on topics related to crafting and managing a personal brand. He has served as a panelist, master of ceremonies, moderator, keynote speaker, and speaking coach. Having received media training from ABC News, Luis has also appeared on television and radio and has prepared clients for such appearances. Having learned photography from industry giants Peter Hurley and Scott Kelby, Luis has photographed well over 4,000 people all over the United States and Canada.
Luis is passionate about giving back to the community has served as a Reserve Deputy at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office since 2000. He also golfs, sings and drums, and participates in triathlons and half marathons along with his wife, Heather. They reside in Parker, Colorado with their beloved dogs Murphy and Milo.
